1. Who we are
Viraleo ("we," "us") operates the Viraleo platform at viraleo.pro. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: channel URLs and handles you submit for analysis, your email address if you create an account, and any content you enter into the tools.
Automatically collected: basic usage analytics (pages viewed, features used, timestamps), device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
We do not collect: your YouTube password or credentials, private videos, payment card details (handled by our payment processor), or sensitive personal categories.
3. How we use information
We process channel URLs against publicly available YouTube data to generate your reports. We use your email for account management, essential service communications, and transactional notices (receipts, material changes). We use aggregated usage data to improve the product. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models beyond the processing required to generate your requested output, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of: contract performance (providing the Service you request), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and consent (where required, e.g., non-essential analytics). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
5. Data retention
Analysis reports are retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or de-identified. Account data is kept until you delete your account (use the account destruction flow, or email us). Usage analytics are anonymized after 12 months. Backup copies are purged on a rolling schedule.
6. Third parties
We use the following categories of processors: YouTube Data API (Google LLC) for public channel/video data; AI model providers (Google) to generate analysis; payment processing (Lemon Squeezy, LLC — merchant of record, handles all billing data); and hosting/CDN infrastructure. Powered by the YouTube API. Each processor is bound by contractual data-protection obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email viraleo.support@gmail.com. We respond within the legally required timeframe. You may also self-serve deletion of your account and associated data from your dashboard.
8. International transfers
We are based in and process data in the United States. If you access the Service from other regions, your information will be transferred to the U.S. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, limited internal access) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
